National Register Nominations

The National Register of Historic Places is the nation’s honor roll for historic buildings, structures, objects and sites. Listing on the National Register recognizes a property’s local, regional or national significance and qualifies the property for potential grants and tax credits. The National Register includes individually significant resources and groups of resources that are listed as historic districts. Many states and municipalities also have historic registers that recognize significant resources.

The Rosin Preservation staff has prepared nominations for dozens of individual properties, historic districts, and multiple property submissions. This work has given property owners access to preservation incentives (such as tax credits and grants) and has provided direction to planners anticipating new development. Beyond such tangible benefits, we all benefit from a better understanding and appreciation of our common heritage. All nominations Rosin Preservation prepares comply with the guidelines published in National Register Bulletin 16A: How to Complete the National Register Registration Form, National Register Bulletin 16B: How to Complete the National Register Multiple Property Documentation Form, the National Park Service Photography Policy (issued Spring 2005), as well as supplemental state and local guidelines.
