 This mid-century courtyard apartment building in Wichita’s urban core was refreshed and updated while maintaining its historic materials and configuration. The two-story, blond brick building had tired finishes from decades of wear. The rehabilitation retained the historic apartment layouts, installing new kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, carpet and paint. The historic wood windows were restored rather than replaced.
Rosin Preservation listed the building in the National Register of Historic Place, enabling the owner to utilize federal and state historic tax credits for the rehabilitation.
