Park Manor Apartments

This project involves the rehabilitated of two classic 1927 apartment buildings near Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. Work on one building finished at the end of 2006, and rehabilitation of the second building is expected to be complete by the end of 2007. The project included refurbishing historic features and finishes and completely upgrading bathrooms, kitchens, and building systems.

Rosin Preservation prepared the National Register nomination for the Park Manor Historic District and the state and federal tax credit applications for 910 and 920 Ward Parkway. The nomination includes three buildings (910 and 920 Ward Parkway as well as the co-op building next door) that are the surviving elements of an eight-building apartment development. When rehabilitation of 910 Ward Parkway was complete, Rosin Preservation met with the client, the project architect and the contractor to review the completed project and to identify ways to improve and streamline the construction process at 920 Ward Parkway.
